The first annual Transforming Lives Gala Benefiting the MacCanon Brown
Homeless Sanctuary.

General Operations

You can contribute toward crucial part-time staff and sustain our solid management infrastructure while we make giant strides toward bringing our vision into reality.

Building Fund

You can contribute towards the transformation of our building at 2461 W. Center St. Our Phase 1 Welcome Center has been up and running since April 2022. Phase 2 of the 1st floor (community gathering/program space, offices, counseling space, and the Martha Watts Dining Room) is nearing completion. Our sprinkler system is almost complete. We are advancing toward completing the kitchen and beginning to install the aquaponics system on the 3rd floor and a museum of urban agriculture and classroom, in 2024.

Support our Aquaponics Project Fund
Our mission to provide food security to the residents of 53206 and beyond depends, in part, on our ability to grow nutritious vegetables year round. Our Aquaponics System will give us that.  MSOE students designed the prototype that you can see in our building at 2461 W. Center St. We are now ready to build the full-scale, functioning system. Along with the impact on food production, the Aquaponics Project will be an employment hub.
